    Blocks and Block Building

    Building More Than Towers

Blocks aren’t just toys—they’re powerful learning tools that introduce early math and science concepts and nurture creativity while encouraging language development. When children build, they develop spatial awareness & coordination; tracking; functional grasp & pre-motor planning; understand principles of geometry; learning cooperative play & negotiation. Stacking, balancing, and designing with blocks allow children to practice problem-solving while sparking imagination. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to build social and emotional skills as children collaborate and share ideas.
