    Weekly Events

    Crafternoons & Connections

    • Drop by the Health & Wellness Office (NVC 3-241) on Wednesdays from 1:00–3:00 pm for a creative escape! Tap into your inner child and let your imagination run wild.
    • Every Wednesday starting February 19.
    • Note: No Crafternoons on April 2 and April 16.

    Pilates

    • Strengthen your mind and body with a Pilates session led by Naqua’na Sessoms from The Brooklyn Wellness Club. Regardless of experience, all students are welcome!
    • Wednesdays from 3:00–4:00 pm in NVC 2-125 starting March 12.
    • Note: No class on April 16.

    Yoga

    • Drop by to unwind and relieve your stress, relax, and rejuvenate. Our yoga instructor, Anna Velychko, will guide you through a session of relaxation.
    • Thursdays from 1:00–2:00 pm in NVC 2-125 starting March 20.
    • Note: No class on March 13, April 3, and April 17.

    Mental Health Awareness Month Tabling

    It’s time to break the stigma, spread awareness, and advocate change for individuals suffering from mental illnesses. Take a moment for yourself! Join us for self-care activities where you will learn about more on and off campus resources if you, or someone else you know, go through a mental health challenge.

    Crafternoons: Letters to yourself

    We’re headed towards the end of the semester. Whether you are preparing for finals, commencement, or a summer internship, we invite you to slow down. Take a moment to write a letter to future self reflecting on all you have accomplished so far. Writing tools, crafts and materials will be provided!

    Stitch, Sip & Chill

    Take a break from the books and celebrate the end of the semester with Destress week off right! Learn why knitting, sewing, embroidering, and crocheting is catching on. Sip some mocktails, chill out and take time to take a break! All materials will be provided!

    In collaboration with USG, take part in a relaxing yet interactive beginner-friendly yoga that will also include mindfulness and breathing exercises. Participants are eligible to receive 1 free merch item of your choice at the end!

    Pet Therapy with Gallager

    Come meet Gallagher and experience pet therapy. Pet therapy can create enhanced self-esteem, improve relationships, create a more positive environment, and give a sense of purpose. We hope to see you there!  Presented by Counseling Center Staff, Gallagher and his person.

    Good Scents and Good Grades

    In our last crafternoons of the Spring 2025 semester, create your own blend of essential oils. Whether you need an immunity-booster, calm your senses, or sleep better, learn more about different scents and potential benefits they provide. All materials will be provided!
