Yes! Students are excited to connect with you virtually and in-person and have been preparing for interviews. Feel free to continue posting positions on Starr Search (powered by Handshake), schedule and post recruiting events and/or host in-person/virtual/phone interviews with Baruch students – You may schedule these on your own or reach out to us to help! Is the Starr Career Development Center open?
At this moment, the Starr Career Development Center is operating 70% in person. Our operating hours can be found here. Note that this is subjected to change so please check the Baruch College website at https://www.baruch.cuny.edu/

There are 4 career centers at Baruch College, each serving different student populations. When posting for multiple populations, please note that Starr and Zicklin’s GCMC both use the same Handshake platform. Weissman and Marxe both use Symplicity Software and are able to share positions between systems.

The Starr Career Development Center
Through the Starr Career Development Center, employers have access to current undergraduate students, recent graduates and alumni.
The Starr Career Development Center provides career services to approximately 16,000 undergraduate students at Baruch College.
Baruch students are tireless success-seekers, frequently juggling multiple roles as student, worker, and family provider. Employers are impressed by their technical skills and drive and return year after year to access this highly qualified group of candidates. Most have significant work experience upon graduation, and a large number work their way through college.

If you are interested in obtaining an invitation for the next Baruch College career fair, please fill out this early inquiry form. Once registration for the fair is open, you will receive an email with more details. Filling out this form does not guarantee a spot at the fair. Over 83% of the senior class used one or more of the services of the Starr Career Development Center during their academic career. We have almost 4,000 student visits per year. Last year, there were almost 232,000 logins to Starr Search and almost 38,000 applications submitted online. In 2021/22, there were 278 on campus interviews and almost 16,000 jobs and internships were posted online.

Employer Satisfaction
The Baruch College, Starr Career Development Center is continuously dedicated to enhancing our services for our employer partners. The Starr Employer Program is an opportunity for employers to expand their partnership with the Baruch College Starr Career Development Center. The benefits to joining this program include:
- The placement of your logo on our homepage with a link to your company’s website enhancing your company’s brand. Our website receives approximately 25,000 page views per month.
- Complimentary registration for our annual career fairs. Sponsorship includes one fair per semester.
- Ongoing publicity for your company on our promotional materials for career fairs and other signature career programs.
Starr Employers support Baruch undergraduate students through a $5000 sponsorship of our career development programs which prepare students to become excellent candidates for professional positions in their companies.
