    Creating Accessible Content

Title II Americans with Disabilities Act
and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1-2.2

Baruch College is committed to ensuring that its digital environment is accessible to all members of the campus community. In alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II, the College is undertaking a coordinated effort to bring publicly shared digital content into compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, while also addressing the additional requirements introduced in WCAG 2.2. All faculty and staff are responsible for reviewing and revising their digital materials in compliance with WCAG. Support for faculty and staff is co led by the Office of Student Disability Services and the Division of Pedagogy and Online Programs (POP) within Academic Affairs, reflecting a shared commitment to inclusive design, accessible teaching and learning, and equitable access to information across Baruch’s digital spaces.
The deadline for initial compliance is April 24, 2026.

Please use the materials below to support your implementation of WCAG 2.1-2.2.
