2025 Lavender Graduation Celebration
Thursday, May 1, 2025
12:00—3:00 PM
ITB 750 (Library building)
We are thrilled to invite the Baruch community to Baruch’s 3rd Annual Lavender Graduation, a special ceremony dedicated to honoring and celebrating our LGBTQIA+ graduating students! This event is a time to recognize their achievements, resilience, and contributions to our campus community—and to show your support!
In addition to recognizing our graduates, we are inviting students to showcase their gifts in two ways:
- Performance: Showcase your talents—whether through singing, musical instruments, dancing, juggling, magic, poetry, or any other talent. We are looking for 3-4 acts to keep everyone entertained. Each act will need to include at least one Baruch student.
- Speech: Offer words of congrats and celebration—whether a traditional speech, spoken word, or poem. We are looking for students to audition to provide a graduation speech. We are looking for 1-3 speakers who can offer their inspiring words to our graduating students. Students do not need to be graduating this year to speak.
Selected performers and speakers will receive special prizes as a token of appreciation.
🎤 Want to perform or give a speech? Auditions are now open! If you’re interested, please sign up and submit your video audition by the April 7 deadline.
🎟 RSVP Now! Seats are limited, so be sure to RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot.
Let’s come together to celebrate, uplift, and honor our LGBTQIA+ graduates in a joyous and affirming space. At this time, due to capacity limitations, we are unable to invite guests.
