    Welcome to Bearcats Lead!

Bearcats Lead is a new leadership initiative created to meet the diverse leadership development needs of our students. We offer culturally comprehensive workshops, responsive support services, and opportunities for community building and socialization. Through these programs, we aim to cultivate leadership skills that celebrate inclusivity, cultural appreciation, and personal growth.

You can apply to the following leadership roles:

    Diversity Leaders:

Diversity Leaders co-facilitate committees dedicated to organizing and celebrating various cultural and history months. They plan and execute events that promote awareness, inclusivity, and cultural appreciation on campus, fostering a more diverse and welcoming environment for all students.

    Affinity Leaders:

Affinity Leaders are part of enrichment programs such as the Women of Color Leadership Program, SEEK Peer Mentors, Macaulay Peer Mentors, Student Engagement Assistants, and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee among others. They plan and execute events that promote inclusivity during affinity celebrations associated with their respective programs.

    Leadership Ambassadors:

Leadership Ambassadors apply advanced leadership skills to enhance their roles within campus clubs. Acting as catalysts for innovation and collaboration, they inspire peers, foster empowerment, and help drive collective goals. They also assist with admissions and recruitment events. Participants applying for this role must currently hold a leadership position within a registered campus club.

Interested applicants can select one track per application. If you’re interested in more than one role, you must submit separate applications for each.

If selected for this opportunity, you must attend all mandatory workshops, meetings, and events.

Those who complete the program will also receive an official certification.

    Applications are now closed.
