    Women of Color Leadership Program

Drawing of three women of colorThe Women of Color (WOC) Leadership Program is an Office of Student Life diversity initiative to provide encouragement, leadership development, support and community to Baruch College students who identify as WOC and their allies. It is our hope that by creating this program, we will contribute to the overall well-being of our students by focusing on their distinct needs beyond their academic journey.

The Women of Color Leadership Program will provide participating students with the opportunity to understand and expand upon personal and cultural competencies such as emotional and cultural intelligence, self-confidence, effective communication, empowerment, and intersectionality just to name a few. Students will have access to cultivated leadership and career development workshops, master class presentations, mentorship opportunities, and community service projects. Our ultimate goal is for students to expand their competencies and apply them to all areas of their life – personal, academic and professional.
