    Linda Baptiste, MS, PA-C
    Physician Assistant
    The physician assistant provides clinical and primary care to Baruch students. This includes general physical exams in men’s and women’s health, testing and care for sexually transmitted illnesses, and immunizations and flu vaccination. The health care practitioner also provides basic gynecological services, pap smears, pelvic exams, point of care pregnancy testing, and treatment for common acute gynecological complaints such as vaginitis and vaginal candida. STI screening, pre-participation sport physicals, pre-employment physicals, and annual health screening are also offered. College males also can see the physician assistant for male health issues such as UTIs and groin rash. Enrolled students are welcome to discuss many more health concerns with the medical staff at the center.

    Associate Director of Health & Wellness
    The Associate Director of Health & Wellness is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives to create a healthy Baruch. Assisted by a coordinator and peer health educators, the associate director also provides workshops, health fairs, stress-reduction programs, presentations on body image and eating disorders, education on sexually transmitted diseases, smoke cessation, HIV testing, education centered on alcohol and other illegal drugs, referrals to on- and off-campus resources, as well as one-on-one consultations on personal health concerns.

    The coordinator in the Office of Health & Wellness is responsible for providing large scale programming that includes: planning the Health & Wellness Fair and Blood Drive. Other responsibilities include designing and presenting stress relieve activities, health promotional initiatives, wellness exercise, as well as creating content for the newsletter land co-monitoring social media. The coordinator also assists with training PAWS peer mentors.

    Administrative Coordinator
    The Administrative Coordinator is the first person of contact in the Student Health Centre. She provides administrative services that include scheduling student appointments, processing medical forms, and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of student medical records.
