2020 Virtual Commencement Experience
June 8, 9:30 A.M. (EDT)
Congratulations on the completion of your studies at Baruch College!
As your time draws to a close, we hope you look back fondly on your Baruch experience and that you have made lasting friendships, developed professionally, and increased your knowledge-base.
While social distancing requirements prohibit us from gathering together at Barclays Center, as originally scheduled, it will not deter us from acknowledging the hard work and achievements of our graduates. Our Commencement is not cancelled; nor is it indefinitely postponed. As originally planned, June 8 is the Class of 2020’s moment to shine! Join us for the Virtual Commencement Experience on Monday, June 8 at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate the Class of 2020!
The Virtual Commencement Experience will begin with a 30-minute video that features a welcome from Interim Provost James McCarthy; a special performance by the Blue Notes; and a valedictory address by Annmarie Gajdos, who has been selected as valedictorian of the Class of 2020. President Mitchel B. Wallerstein, PhD, will also deliver the keynote and, together with the deans, confer the graduate and undergraduate degrees for each of our three schools.
Special sites will go live for the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Zicklin School of Business. Each site will include video remarks from the school’s dean, as well as clips from faculty and staff. Student clubs and organizations will also host special watch parties. Visit the Virtual Commencement Experience site when it goes live on June 1 for the list of watch parties.
Students, you do not need to register to attend the Baruch 2020 Virtual Commencement Experience!
This year your yearbook will be delivered to your address if purchased by June 16, 2020. All yearbooks will be shipped by early July. All senior packages will be received at a future date.
