The Saw Mill Capital – Internship Opportunity Award was established to support students undertaking experiential learning through unpaid internships relevant to the students’ educational or career goals in the area of computer information systems, accounting, finance, or economics.
Stipend is for unpaid internships only.Students that meet the award criteria will be eligible to receive up to $2,000, paid at the completion of the internship experience. Awardees will be selected by a committee organized by Baruch’s Starr Career Development Center.
This workshop from the Tools for Clear Speech program is designed for Baruch students who identify as non-native English speakers.
If you sometimes find it difficult to make casual conversation in English, this workshop is for you! You will learn the skills necessary for successful and enjoyable conversations, such as choosing appropriate topics, asking follow-up questions, listening actively, and more. You will also practice making small talk in a variety of situations, from meeting a neighbor in the elevator to chit-chatting with a recruiter before a job interview.
