    Where you live while you’re in college can change your entire experience. Living in the residence hall enhances and enriches your college journey and Baruch students have the opportunity maximize this experience!

    Baruch Housing is located at 569 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022 (on 51st Street and Lexington Avenue). We are here to offer support and assist in guiding you through the housing process.  The application process is highly competitive, and housing is not guaranteed.

    • Read the Baruch Housing website to learn about the application process
    • Apply for housing when the application goes live on April 1
    • Check your email frequently to not miss any communication
    • Sign the offer letter that will be sent to your email
    • Fill out the roommate finder form
    • Sign the license agreement that will be sent to your email
    • Receive your room assignment!!!

    Applying

    This application is for students who have not yet completed an application.
    If you filled out an application during Round 1, please do NOT fill out another!

    Housing Application

    ROUND 2

    June 16: Fall 2025 Housing Application goes live on website for Round 2.
    (We do not have a specific time. However, typically it will be posted during regular business hours.)

    June 19–June 26: We will begin to send offer letters and roommate finder form to students moving forward in the process. Students should check their email often, to not miss any deadlines.

    June 26–July 7: We will begin to send license agreements to students that have signed their offer letters (Round 2).

    July 14–21: Remainder of room assignments sent out.

    August 4: Charges sent to Bursar to be posted on CUNYfirst.

    Fall 2025 Move-in Dates:

    It’s nearly here! Move in days for the Baruch Residence Hall are as follows:

    • Exchange and International student move in: Friday, August 15
    • First Year/Transfer Student Move in: Thursday, August 21
    • Returning Student Move in: Friday, August 22

    Students may arrive after their assigned move-in date, but not before.

    All move in appointments will occur between 10:00am – 4:00pm.

    Below you can find the specific time which you should arrive to move into the hall. Adhering to these times is important so that the elevators can be used efficiently and not create long lines.

    • Last name A-I: 10:00am-12:00pm
    • Last name J-R: 12:00pm-2:00pm
    • Last name S-Z: 2:00pm-4:00pm

    Students may arrive after their assigned move-in time, but not before.

    PLANNING AHEAD

    Move-Out Dates

    December 2025—If you are not living with us in Spring 2026, you should plan to move out 24 hours after your last final at the end of the Fall 2025 semester. The semester ends on December 22, so please plan to move out by 12:00pm on December 23 at the latest.

    Spring 2026—Students should plan to move out 24 hours after their last final at the end of the Spring 2026 semester. The semester ends on Tuesday, May 26, so non-graduates should move out by 12pm on Wednesday, May 27.

    CANCELLATION

    Once a student signs the license agreement, they are locked into Housing at Baruch for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 (August 2025–May 2026) and responsible for the full housing costs for both semesters. If a student cancels after they have signed the license agreement, they will be charged the following fees:

    • If a student cancels before July 31: Cancellation fee is $1,000.
    • If a student cancels between August 1 and August 15: Cancellation fee is $2,000.
    • If a student cancels after August 15: Cancellation fee is $3,000.

    If a student cancels their spring semester housing after November 15, they will be responsible for the full spring housing costs. If they cancel before November 15, they will be responsible for the $3,000 cancellation fee.

    Rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to students out-of-state, or more than 30 miles from campus. Any specific requests (roommate preferences, type of room, etc.) will be honored as possible, but is not guaranteed.

    License Agreement 2024-2025 Please note, this is for students in housing for the 2024–2025 academic year.
