    Where you live while you’re in college can change your entire experience. Living in the residence hall enhances and enriches your college journey and Baruch students have the opportunity maximize this experience!

    Baruch Housing is located in the FOUND Study–Midtown East building at 569 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10022 (on 51st Street and Lexington Avenue). We are here to offer support and assist in guiding you through the housing process. The application process is highly competitive, and housing is not guaranteed.

    • Apply for housing when the application goes live on April 1
    • Check your email frequently to not miss any communication
    • Sign the offer letter that will be sent to your email
    • Fill out the roommate finder form
    • Sign the license agreement that will be sent to your email
    • Receive your room assignment!!!

    The Housing Application for Round 1 is now closed.
    Please check back for the link to the Housing Application for Round 2 which will be available Monday, June 15.

    ROUND 1

    Wednesday, April 1, 2026: Fall 2026 Housing Application goes live on website for Round 1 (we do not have a specific time, however typically it will be posted during regular business hours).

    Monday, April 13: We will begin to send offer letters to students moving forward in the process. Students should check their email often (at least once a day), to not miss any deadlines. Offer letters need to be signed by the deadline given in the email to move forward in the process.

    Wednesday, April 22: We will begin to send Roommate Finder forms and License Agreements to students that have signed their offer letters. These forms need to be filled out and signed by the deadline given in the email to receive a room assignment.

    Mid to end of June: First wave of room assignments will be emailed to students that completed the process.

    Thursday, July 23: Charges sent to Bursar to be posted on CUNYfirst.

    If you do not get a space during the Round 1 process and beds are still available, applications will open again mid-June for Round 2.

    ROUND 2

    Monday, June 15: Fall 2026 Housing Application goes live on website for Round 2 (we do not have a specific time, however typically it will be posted during regular business hours).

    Thursday, June 18: We will begin to send offer letters to students moving forward in the process. Students should check their email often (at least once a day), to not miss any deadlines. Offer letters need to be signed by the deadline given in the email to move forward in the process.

    Thursday, June 25: We will begin to send Roommate Finder forms and License Agreements to students that have signed their offer letters. These forms need to be filled out and signed by the deadline given in the email to receive a room assignment.

    Thursday, July 23: Remainder of room assignments sent out.

    Thursday, July 23: Charges sent to Bursar to be posted on CUNYfirst.

    Planning Ahead

    Move-In Dates

    Exchange and International Student Move-in: Monday, August 17, 2026.
    Students this day can arrive between 12pm and 4pm. You may arrive after your assigned move-in day and time, but not before. You do not need to notify us if you are arriving after this date and time.

    First Year, Transfer, and Graduate Student Move-in: Monday, August 24, 2026.

    Returning Student Move-in: Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

    Times

    All move-in appointments on August 25 and 26 will occur between 10 AM–3 PM.

    Below you can find the specific time which you should arrive to move into the hall. Adhering to these times is important so that the elevators can be used efficiently and not create long lines.

    Please do not arrive before 10am. Key distribution will begin at 10:00am sharp! Anyone arriving earlier will need to wait in the lobby.

    Last name A-I: 10:00–11:45 AM
    Last name J-R: 11:45 AM–1:30 PM
    Last name S-Z: 1:15–3:00 PM

    Students may arrive after their assigned move-in day/time, but not before. You do not need to notify us if you are arriving after this date and time.

    Move-Out Dates

    Spring 2026: Students should plan to move out 24 hours after their last final at the end of the Spring 2026 semester. The semester ends on Tuesday, May 26, so students should move out by 12pm on Wednesday, May 27 at the very latest.

    December 2026: If you are not living with us in Spring 2027, you should plan to move out 24 hours after your last final at the end of the Fall 2026 semester. The semester ends on December 21, so please plan to move out by 12:00pm on December 22 at the latest.

    Spring 2027: Students should plan to move out 24 hours after their last final at the end of the Spring 2027 semester. The semester ends on Thursday, May 27, so students should move out by 12pm on Friday, May 28 at the very latest.

    Cancellation

    Once a student signs the license agreement, they are locked into Housing at Baruch for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 (August 2026–May 2027) and responsible for the full housing costs for both semesters. If a student cancels after they have signed the license agreement, they will be charged the following fees:

    • If a student cancels before July 31: Cancellation fee is $1,000.
    • If a student cancels between August 1 and August 15: Cancellation fee is $2,000.
    • If a student cancels after August 15: Cancellation fee is $3,000.

    If a student cancels their spring semester housing after November 15, they will be responsible for the full spring housing costs. If they cancel before November 15, they will be responsible for the $3,000 cancellation fee.

    Spring Cancellation Dates: For Students Who Join Housing for the Spring Semester

    You are subject to the cancellation fees if you cancel once you receive your housing offer and sign your license agreement.

    • If a student cancels before December 31: Cancellation fee is $1,000.
    • If a student cancels between January 1 and January 15: Cancellation fee is $2,000.
    • If a student cancels after January 15: Cancellation fee is $3,000.

    Rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to students out-of-state, or more than 30 miles from campus. Any specific requests (roommate preferences, type of room, etc.) will be honored as possible, but is not guaranteed.

    License Agreement 2025-2026 Please note, this is for students in housing for the 2025–2026 academic year.
