We understand that some students may need or desire to leave housing for a wide variety of reasons. Students have the ability to cancel their room agreement at any point in their contract. However, there is a strict cancellation policy which is stated in the Housing Offer Letter and in the License Agreement that each student must sign before they are assigned a bed. The date in which you cancel will determine when you are required to leave the residence hall. For most students, if you have paid for the semester, you will be able to remain in residence until the end of that semester. To cancel your commitment to housing, please complete the Housing Cancellation Request Form. Before submitting, be sure to read the policy in its entirety as there are in many cases associated fees.
If you wish to appeal any assessed fee as part of the cancellation process, please complete the appeal form in addition to the cancelation form. The cancellation form must be submitted for the appeal form to be considered. You are asked to submit an explanation and any supporting documentation on this form.
