If you have applied for housing, but you were not able to be placed, you can be added to a wait list.

If a bed becomes available, we will reach out to the first person on the list who is a possible match for that room. Preference is given to those who have completed the application already and paid the deposit, however, those who have not completed these items will not be overlooked, as the submission date is the key determining factor.

If contacted, you will have the option to accept or decline the space within a short period of time. You will also have the ability to remain on the waitlist if you so choose.

Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a bed will be assigned to you. Anyone who has paid their $300 security deposit and does not receive a bed assignment will be refunded. Please note, security deposits are refunded to your student account via CUNYfirst and can take 2-3 weeks for processing.
