Civic Engagement
One of the foundational purposes of Higher Education is to prepare students to civically participate in our society. Colleges across the country continue to develop new initiatives related to civic engagement.
We view community service opportunities as not only service but as an opportunity of experiential learning. A part of this experiential learning is to consistently provide students with volunteer opportunities that will further support and enhance their collegiate experience while at Baruch College.
Previous Community Service Projects have included:

- Habitat for Humanity
- Part of the Solution (P.O.T.S.)
- God’s Love We Deliver
- BedStuy Campaign Against Hunger
- Hell’s Kitchen Farm Project
- Battle of the Boroughs
Give Back with the Office of Student Life!
Join the Office of Student Life for a day of service with God’s Love We Deliver!
Volunteers will work together in the kitchen to prepare meals for individuals in need, making a meaningful impact in our community.
