LGBTQIA+ History Month 2026
Living Authentically: BIPOC & Trans Identity, Resilience & Action
LGBTQIA+ History Month is commemorated during the month of October, celebrating and recognizing the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals have had on history—both locally and globally.
This year’s theme, Living Authentically: BIPOC & Trans Identity, Resilience & Action centers the experiences, voices, and contributions of BIPOC, transgender and gender-expansive communities. The theme recognizes the unique ways race, culture, gender identity, and other aspects of identity intersect, while celebrating the resilience, joy, and strength found in living authentically.
We invite all members of the Baruch Community to join us in celebration of LGBTQIA+ History Month. We hope to encourage our community to listen, learn, advocate, and help create spaces where everyone can feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
All events are subject to change.
