Comparison is the Thief of Joy: Feeling Left Behind Workshop

    November 7 | 12:30–1:45pm | NVC 3-215

This workshop will focus on students who are feeling left behind their peers. Many Baruch students are starting college at a non-traditional age or maybe re-starting college after taking a break. For many reasons including the ever-present social media, many students compare themselves to family members/friends/peers with different life paths. In this workshop we will honor the individual paths students are on and work to build resources for self-esteem and confidence on their own path. Snacks will be provided.
Presenters: Counseling Center Staff and the USG.

Grief Workshop for Students Impacted by War-Torn Areas

Come get grief support for losses associated with war-torn areas that are impacting you. We will create a safe space for processing these losses and share tips for managing the grief. We hope to see you there!

    Fraud and Scam Prevention

It has come to our attention that students at Baruch College and other CUNY campuses have received a message with the subject “Important Message from College Finance Department.” The message offers a “covid-19 financial aid grant.” The message is not from the College; it is a scam designed to get students to divulge their personal information. If you have received this message, please delete it. If you responded to the message and provided your personal information, please contact helpdesk@baruch.cuny.edu for assistance with changing your passwords and taking further action, if necessary. More information about Fraud and Scam Prevention can be found on the Baruch website.
