    Baruch College 2025 Commencement Ceremony

    The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Barclays Center located at 620 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. There will be one Commencement Ceremony at 9:00 a.m., with both undergraduate and graduate students at the ceremony.

    The deadline to complete your cap & gown order is Friday, May 2, 2025 (the order site closes at 11:45 p.m.). Please visit the Student Life website to order your cap & gown and guest tickets.

    IMPORTANT: You will NOT be able to purchase your cap & gown or request guest tickets after this deadline date.

    Beware of Yearbook Scam!

    Please be aware of what has been reported as a yearbook scam targeting college/university students around the world, including Baruch College students.

    An email is sent from my-yearbook.us with the subject “Complete Your Account (Baruch College 2024/2025 Yearbook)”. The link leads to a form on their website that asks for personal details (name, phone number, student email address, picture and achieved degree), before requesting a $6 or $12 registration fee. This fee is then being used to set up a recurring payment from your account.

    Bearcat Food Pantry
    The purpose of the Pantry is to provide Baruch students, who face food insecurity, access to healthy and nutritious food to help support their path towards graduation. Along with the Pantry, students who do not have regular access to food are able to request a “Grab and Go” bag, containing three small meals to help students get through the day. The “Grab and Go” bags may be picked up from the Office of the Dean of Students, Office of Student Life, or the Student Health Care Center.

    Fresh Food Program

    The Fresh Food Program returns this Spring 2025 semester. Starting February 13, fresh food bags will be distributed to students on a first-come-first-served basis. Each student will receive 2 bags, 1 of fresh produce (fruits and vegetables may change based on availability) and 1 bag with a loaf of bread and an additional item. Please note that due to the global egg shortage, eggs may not be available this semester. However, they will be replaced with another item. Examples of these items include pasta, string beans, beans, etc. It occurs every Thursday until April 24, excluding April 17 for Spring Recess.

    In September 2024, CUNY announced the implementation of its new student disability management system, CUNY Accommodate, which streamlines the accommodation request process for you, the student. These resources are self-paced, explain aspects of the system in detail, and provide instructions for accessing and using CUNY Accommodate. Whether you are a student requesting accommodation for the first time or are a returning student, CUNY Accommodate is designed to support you.

    Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month

    A Legacy of Leadership and Resilience

    The Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month is a month-long celebration and uplifting of Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) identities, experiences, histories and cultures. Nationally, APIDA Heritage Month is recognized in May. Because this is after the end of the academic year, the Baruch Community hosts our programming during April. The national theme for this year is, “A Legacy of Leadership and Resilience”. The theme honors the hard work of APIDA leaders who established a foundation for future generations to thrive and adapt to change and adversity.

    Our free immigration lawyer services are up and running. The Undergraduate Student Government and the Graduate Student Assembly provide currently registered undergraduate and grad students with the opportunity to speak with an immigration lawyer twice a semester.

    Baruch Night at Barclays

    Join Baruch College and the Brooklyn Nets  on April 8th for Baruch Nights at Barclays enjoy the Brooklyn Nets vs. New Orleans Pelican.
