Allison is a sophomore pursuing a major in International Business and minors in Japanese and Finance. Over the past summer, she interned as a Career Resources Planning and Research Analyst at ChampAmerica, Inc., a career and management consulting firm. As a new Peer, she is eager to work with and encourage students to begin developing their careers and paths. Outside of school and work, she loves hiking new trails and scouting new places in the city.
Anna is a junior with a major in Statistics and Quantitative Modeling and a minor in Computer Information Systems. She was a Technology Intern at a digital marketing agency, a Data Analytics Intern at a financial organization, and this past summer, a Risk Management Analyst at a hedge fund. In addition to her role as a Tier I Peer, she is also a First Year Seminar Peer Mentor. She hopes to help students advance in their career and know that everyone is in their race at their own pace!
Ayesha is a student majoring in Finance and minoring in Mathematics, with a graduation date of December 2020. This is her second semester working as a Peer, after studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and she is excited to be back! This past summer she worked as an intern at JP Morgan, and received an offer to return for next summer. She is thrilled to continue meeting fellow peers and guide them through the complicated career development process.
Heather, a junior in the CUNY BA program, has created her own major: Cinematic Production and Investment. She has served as the Medium Director for Film and Photography as part of the USG Arts Committee, as well a Production Assistant for The Ticker. Heather’s passion lies with art and she hopes to assist her peers in career development utilizing the resources and platform at Starr.
Jenny is a junior majoring in Accounting with minors in Communication Studies and Data Analytics. This past summer she interned at Nasdaq as a Tax Accounting Intern working on a variety of projects supporting the Tax Group. Jenny has been involved on campus as the Creative Director of Japan Club, Women’s History Month Committee, and Conversation Partners Program. This upcoming year she will serve as the Board of Directors for Baruch College Association, Inc. for Undergraduate Student Government.
Lea is a senior pursuing a BBA in International Business with double minors in Finance and Spanish. As a Tier 2 Peer, Lea has helped to raise over $1,000 for Relay for Life through Suit Up For Success, hosted multiple professional events throughout the year for students to further develop their skills, and was the recipient of the Kong & Mui Peers for Careers Award in 2018. Aside from serving her fellow Bearcats as a Peer, she is also involved in Women in Business and was a Business Development and Data Analyst Intern at Performance Hospitality.
Neel is a sophomore pursuing a major in Finance and a minor in Economics. This past summer, Neel interned at the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank located in U.A.E. as an Investment Banking Intern. Along with providing support and guidance to students as a Peer for Career, he will also be a Peer Mentor in the First Year Seminar (FYS) class as well as at Success Network. College can be an exciting as well as challenging period for many, and Neel is motivated to contribute positively to the Baruch Community.
Patrick is a junior majoring in Accountancy and minoring in Data Analytics. He plans to acquire a CPA license through the five-year program. Fall 2019 is his first semester as both a Peer for Career and as the President of the Baruch Chapter of the Macaulay Business Club. With a significant interest in geopolitics and financial markets, he is eager to help students overcome personal and professional obstacles in pursuit of their aspirations. Also, he is a 3rd-degree black belt in Taekwondo!
Pragya, a sophomore majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics, works at the Baruch Undergraduate Admissions Welcome Center. She gives campus tours and addresses potential Baruch students. This fall, she starts her role as a Resident Assistant at the Baruch Residence Hall, facilitating the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students. As a Peer for Career, she looks forward to assisting students in their professional development by helping them with their resumes and cover letters.
Saddiya is a junior majoring in Accounting and minoring in Philosophy. She served as a Baruch Orientation Leader last summer, as well as an Accounting Intern at Wyng, Inc. In addition, she is a member of Baruch’s Provost Honors Scholars program. As a Peer, she hopes to aid students in achieving their professional goals through the services offered by the Starr Career Development Center. Her interests include poetry and trying new things.
Sara is a senior completing a BBA in Finance and a minor in Political Science. This past summer, she interned at Oppenheimer Co. & Inc. as a Summer Analyst in the Compliance Division and has been given the opportunity to continue her internship throughout the school year. As a Peer, she aims not only to provide excellent service, but to also encourage students to work hard and to get involved on campus, so that they can reach their academic and professional goals.
Sibgha is a junior majoring in Accounting with a double minor in Law & Policy and Data Analytics and plans to become a CPA. This upcoming Fall, she will be an Executive Freshman Seminar Peer Mentor. In the past, she completed an internship at Berdon LLP as a Tax Intern and served as a Baruch Orientation Leader. She currently is an Executive Treasurer of the Zicklin Undergraduate Tax Society and a VP of Finance at the Baruch Consulting Club. Sibgha is very excited to assist other students in achieving their full potential and help them utilize the resources at Starr. Outside of school and work, she enjoys exploring nature.
Vitoria is a Zicklin and Provost Scholar pursuing a BBA in International Business with minors in Finance, Advanced Business Analysis and Spanish. She spent a year studying abroad in China where she was able to develop her intercultural communication and Mandarin speaking skills. Aside from serving as a Peer since 2016, Vitoria is also a member of ALPFA’s Professional Development committee and is currently interning at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She looks forward to assisting Baruch students as they strive to reach their career goals.
