Career Related Activity

Career related activity data is broken down into several categories that represent main points of interaction between students and career related services at Baruch.

• Applications – job applications submitted via StarrSearch/Handshake
• Counseling – career related counseling/advising appointments scheduled with the Starr Career Development Center
• Events – Baruch hosted or sponsored events, such as workshops, information sessions and career fairs
• Logins – in StarrSearch/Handshake

Percentage Activity by Employment Status

 

 

Percentages are calculated based on students having had at least one activity type and a known employment status.

 

Total Activity by Employment Status

 

 

This represents a total of each activity for all students having a known employment status.

 

Average Activity by Employment Status

 

 

Averages per student are calculated based on students having had at least one activity type and a known employment status.

 

Percentage Activity by School

 

 

Percentages are calculated based on students having had at least one activity type.

 

Total Activity by School

 

 

This represents a total of each activity for all students within their respective school.

 

Percentage Activity by Ethnicity

 

 

Percentages are calculated based on students having had at least one activity type and a known ethnicity. “Multiple Ethnicities” refers to students having declared more than one ethnicity.

 

Percentage Activity by Sex

 

Percentages are calculated based on students having had at least one activity type and a known sex.
